Nice to see you again twinkletoes
EDIT: i changed the last picture of toph after i watched the 3rd episode.
For several years, I had been bored. Not a whining, restless child’s boredom (although I was not above that) but a dense, blanketing malaise. It seemed to me that there was nothing new to be discovered ever again. Our society was utterly, ruinously derivative (although the word derivative as a criticism is itself derivative). We were the first human beings who would never see anything for the first time. We stare at the wonders of the world, dull-eyed, underwhelmed. Mona Lisa, the Pyramids, the Empire State Building. Jungle animals on attack, ancient icebergs collapsing, volcanoes erupting. I can’t recall a single amazing thing I have seen firsthand that I didn’t immediately reference to a movie or TV show. A fucking commercial. You know the awful singsong of the blasé: Seeeen it. I’ve literally seen it all, and the worst thing, the thing that makes me want to blow my brains out, is: The secondhand experience is always better. The image is crisper, the view is keener, the camera angle and the soundtrack manipulate my emotions in a way reality can’t anymore. I don’t know that we are actually human at this point, those of us who are like most of us, who grew up with TV and movies and now the Internet. If we are betrayed, we know the words to say; when a loved one dies, we know the words to say. If we want to play the stud or the smart-ass or the fool, we know the words to say. We are all working from the same dog-eared script.
It’s a very difficult era in which to be a person, just a real, actual person, instead of a collection of personality traits selected from an endless Automat of characters.
And if all of us are play-acting, there can be no such thing as a soul mate, because we don’t have genuine souls.
It had gotten to the point where it seemed like nothing matters, because I’m not a real person and neither is anyone else.
I would have done anything to feel real again.
if you want to challenge yourself just listen to every song on your ipod without skipping any
They are all okay, and all those things could exist in the same woman. Women shouldn’t be valued because we are strong, or kick-ass, but because we are people. (x)
does anyone else have this other self they’ve created in their mind that is not really exactly you irl but is more like what you want to be and has a life that continues in your head with like weird continuing daydreams but they’re not perfect or anything and wow i forget where i was going with this
Day dreaming in general is actually really good for you mentally, it can give your brain some good exercise, and relax you, but if you’re missing out on eating and sleeping or other important things, THEN, well yeah.
Just look more into it before you think your self off the deep end…

and you may contribute a verse.’
What will your verse be?”

"I don’t know what I’d ever do without you!"
"Probably not have a fanmix dedicated to our relationship."
Being the Supreme of this Wuko Trash Coven, I made a fanmix playlist chronicling a Wuko relationship, from start to finish: first attraction, longing, first date, puppy love, first time, temptation, cheating, heartbreak, anger, misery, redemption, forgiveness, and a new start.
Each track has a little annotation that examines why I included that track from Wuko perspective. Some tracks are Mako-centric, and others are Wu. A lot are both of their perspectives. I’ve included this for your ease of imagination, so you know exactly why I included these songs and what they represent.
Some tracks I couldn’t manage to get into the fanmix because there were too many other songs by the same artists. Others I tried to change the name of to something similar so it would let pass (surprisingly, 8tracks caught most and refused to let me publish until I removed them) the approval requirement.
Thus you might see some songs by artists who they’re not by, and others will have inaccurate but similar names: i.e. The Child of Destiny is an obvious reference to Destiny’s Child (whose tracks I was most keen to include, but had to cut some out). This was due to a necessity of having them included to the best of my ability to portray the relationship the way I see it through music.
I hope you enjoy! :)
